What is its purpose?

The indicator assesses the number (or proportion) of target households living in shelters that meet the standards set by the National Shelter Cluster.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

1) List the shelter standards defined by the National Shelter Cluster.

 

2) Use reviews of the project documentation, observations and interviews with key informants to assess the number (or proportion) of targeted households living in shelters which meet the cluster’s standards.

Disaggregate by

Disaggregate the data by the shelter solutions (as defined by the cluster), gender and specific vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities.

Important Comments

1) Also assess the number of target household members living in adequate shelters.

 

2) As much as possible, follow the National Shelter Cluster’s guidance.
